The Holbrook Building has long been a beacon of commerce, culture, and community in downtown Meridian.
Nestled in the city’s historic Black business district, it witnessed generations of entrepreneurship, cultural exchange, and communal growth. Today, the Holbrook Collective is committed to keeping this legacy alive for future generations.
DR. OTIS GOWDY JR.
Dr. Otis Gowdy, Jr. is a nephrologist practicing in Meridian, MS. He holds leadership roles in various medical and community organizations, including serving as Chief of Staff at Anderson Regional Medical Center and chairing the city planning commission. He is an active member of his church and was named Parent of the Year by Northeast Middle School. Additionally, Dr. Gowdy is involved with his alma mater, Xavier University of Louisiana, helping to establish endowments and organize events.
Meet The Team
Shaquille is an accomplished content producer, cinematographer, and editor born in Starkville, Mississippi. With experience spanning Sony, NASA, ESPN, Lionsgate and many other high-profile projects he has honed his expertise across multiple facets of the film and broadcast industries.
Kayla is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience coordinating complex productions. Having recently returned from New York City, she has been involved in numerous large-scale shows and events, honing her skills in organization, communication, and leadership.
